Will meet in the library of the First United Methodist Church with the lesson on “The Torture and Humiliation of the King.” This chapter may be difficult for most of us to read and ponder, but Jesus’ suffering and humiliation were His sacrifice for us. “Jesus demonstrates a love that refuses to give in to vengeance or to give up. . . .” He demonstrates the “full extent of God’s love.” Our next meeting will be after Easter on April 24.
